Ian Cox has practised in the employment law field since 1987. His focus is on advising on ways to avoid or minimise the impacts of labour disputes rather than litigating over them. 

His business law experience makes him particularly effective in advising on retrenchments, applications for exemptions and the structuring and drafting of employment contracts. He  also represent clients in litigious matters when the need arises.
